I agree with Obama that America is no longer the Christian nation that it once was, but the question is, why did he say that? Does Obama even believe that America was ever a Christian nation? And is it his desire that we not be a Christian nation? It seems to me that, at the very least, I do not believe that Obama wants America to be a Christian-only nation. But I fear that what he really wants is not just a nation where all religions are welcome; I suspect his plans go well beyond that, though I think he wants us to believe that he is merely pushing toward equality of religion.

Jeff, your blog looks nice, more than it was when I openned it.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "more than it was when I opened it," (I assume you are referring to some first impression you had) but thank you.

God bless youfor your encouraging 'communication.

Thank you!Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01146601338956701881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096670002191538774.post-42779048089081272392009-05-08T16:38:00.000-04:002009-05-08T16:38:00.000-04:00I do not find proper words to comment on 'obama's'...I do not find proper words to comment on 'obama's' claim that america is no longer a 'christian nation'.
I'm actually not sure what he implies:
That america chooses to stand out of christian values or otherwise!
Jeff, your blog looks nice, more than it was when I openned it.
God bless youfor your encouraging 'communication.acceptedagain.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096670002191538774.post-82628667030980368072009-05-03T21:57:00.000-04:002009-05-03T21:57:00.000-04:00'Thanks for the satire comments with a controversi...'Thanks for the satire comments with a controversial topic.'

You're welcome.

Thanks, you are welcome. I suspect that it might be even worse if there were still not a large number of Christians here. But of course, there is also a lot of false doctrine that has creeped into American churches. I also agree that it seems like we are at the doorstep of the things in Revelation beginning to occur. The things talked about in Revelation (with the exception of those things which were already fulfilled around the First Century or so) have not yet begun to occur, but it seems that all the signs are pointing toward everything being ready and ripe for it now.Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01146601338956701881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096670002191538774.post-50543336644361498062009-05-02T14:12:00.000-04:002009-05-02T14:12:00.000-04:00thekingpin68,

And certainly it has been becoming more and more secular over the years. Others have said that Global Warming has become the new religion here. Still others are saying we are moving toward a one-world government, which I have seen strong proof of through a number of different sources. Others are saying, as your article seems to imply, Russ, that Muslims are moving to take over the world. There is a lot happening, and though I believe that God has slowly been pulling His hand of blessing away from the U.S. for many years now, it seems that America is now toppling, and may possibly fall very soon now. Only God knows what will happen, and thankfully, we who are Christians will dwell with Him forever.

Thanks for the satire comments with a controversial topic.

You're welcome.Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01146601338956701881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096670002191538774.post-19464706765781700212009-05-02T14:05:00.000-04:002009-05-02T14:05:00.000-04:00Scott McQueen,

So many people try to convince me our country was founded against any religion or belief in God and this is powerful proof they are wrong. Freedom of religion was never an endorsement of disbelief.
