LOL! The Eagles were in the Super Bowl in 1981 and 2005, and LOST both times!

Russ and Anonymous,

Ha ha.

Just in case you guys are confusing my readers, let me point out, for the sake of any readers that may not understand, that the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles, to which you guys are referring, are professional teams. The Shiloh Eagles and Richland Giants, in the movie, are fictional High School teams.

However, at least 5 actors in the movie really are involved with football in real life.

Tamela,

That really was an awesome movie. Best of all, it was a very God-honoring movie, which is rare today. They also made a movie prior to this one, called "Flywheel," which I have not seen yet. And in September, they are coming out with another one called "Fireproof," which apparently focuses on marriage.

Even Chuck Norris has seen this movie!

"This family-friendly and faith-filled motion picture is currently winning the hearts and minds of grassroots America. My wife, Gena, and I have seen it three times and taken others!"

Here are a few of the people that were on the Honorary Advisory Board of the movie:

Coach Dan Reeves (former coach of the Denver Broncos in 1981; the New York Giants in 1993; and the Atlanta Falcons in 1996)

Vince Lombardi, Jr. (son of the famous coach of the Green Bay Packers)

Mrs. Tom Landry (wife of the Dallas Cowboys coach)

Bill Glass (former football player)
Norm Evans (formerly of the Miami Dolphins)

Jeff,
You mean these teams were not real! Then where is the faith?

No, I believe in faith like that. The problem is, do we have leadership like that?

Yes we do. Chuck Norris used to study Zen in the early 90's. I remember seeing him on David Letterman, promoting his book. I was so disappointed. And now, here is a leader that is not fictional.

Thanks for the trailers.
Tamela, encouraged me to write on the Jewish Wedding Ceremony. After I studied it, I could not believe what I saw. Check it out and let me know what you think. There are some loose ends I could use a hand on.

From my blog comments:

I am sorry about your email problems. No worries Jeff, I am not asking you for a graphic. I was suggesting to you, and Rick in the satire and theology comments, that we could have similar type warnings for trolls. I am happy with my graphic as is.

LOL! I know you're joking around. It is, of course, only a movie, not a documentary.

According to Wikipedia:

"Now an outspoken Christian, Norris is the author of several Christian books, such as The Justice Riders. He has also been in a few TV commercials promoting Bible study and prayer in public schools, in addition to efforts to reduce drug use. In 2006, he began penning a column for the conservative news website WorldNetDaily. In his columns, he has expressed belief in Biblical creationism, those who are troubled should turn to Jesus, and is quoted as saying "true patriots" do not stay clear of discussing religion and politics.

Norris serves on the board of directors of the NCBCPS, an organization promoting the use of the Bible in public schools, and also speaks on behalf of organizations advocating official prayers in public schools."

I glanced at your article yesterday. I think that's a great subject to write on. I know nothing about it, but, since I like doing Internet research, I can always see what else I can find out. I'll stop by again when I get a chance. (Gotta get ready for work in just a few minutes or so.)

Yeah, today is the 4th day my email has been down. Grrrr! That's ridiculous for them to be working on it so long. They said they had a hard drive crash.

I'll go ahead and create a graphic anyway. I will probably create one from scratch. I was looking into some possible ideas yesterday. If its good enough, I'll put it on my site. If its not good enough, I'll chalk it up to experience and practice. The graphic you have on your site, as you said, already looks good.

OK, I'll have to remember to check that out tonight after work.
