I am glad in Christ that we allow others freedom (humanly speaking) to be outside of Christ.

Yes. It is impossible for a person to be born again/regenerated by the sword. It is a work of the Holy Spirit. Of course, I have read that Jesuits, etc. have made 'converts,' and for all I know, maybe some of those could have been by force, but such 'converts' are not truly saved. Following rites and ceremonies, or simply believing in the existence of God or Christ, does not make one saved/born again.
