Actually my comment was concerning my free will post. Free will and determinism are tied to the problem of evil. I did the free will article Friday night and a new article for each blog June 1st.
Regarding Election vs. Free Will, if there is even the tiniest inkling of free will involved, then we can brag for all eternity.
"For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?" (I Cor. 4:7)
"Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord." (I Cor. 1:31)
"For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." (II Cor. 4:6)
Faith is a gift from God. Without that faith, we could never receive Christ.
If it is God-initiated, then it is not free will.
"For God's gifts and his call are irrevocable." (Romans 11:29)
In Romans 9, Paul teaches the doctrine of Election.

Hey, Jeff.

Cheers:)
I've been debating Election vs. Free Will on a Christian Forums site. My hands are tired from so much typing.
