The Gospel: witnessing on the street

A problem with only supposedly sinning even a minority of the time is that it is a result of sinful nature (Romans 1-6).

A sinful nature and resulting wrong thoughts and acts are not acceptable to God.

The atoning and resurrection work of Christ is applied to chosen persons and these persons freely believe and are transformed over time culminating with the resurrection.

Someone commented on another website the other day that we are not condemned for our sinful nature, but for our sinful acts. I had never heard that before, and that is interesting, though I'm not certain as to how true it is.

In any case, people tend to act as if they might have sinned once or twice in their life, when the truth is that it was actually countless thousands, or possibly even millions of times. Lust, hatred, selfishness, greed, pride, drunkenness, getting high, holding a grudge, pornography, cursing, blasphemy (using God's Name in vain), stealing/theft, lying, gossiping, and a host of other things, many of which are done on a daily, and even hourly, basis in the lives of people.
