The arrogance of Russell was incredible, with little education and no direct apostolic contact with God, he reasoned his volumes needed to be read to understand Scripture.

'Religion is a snare and racket'; Rutherford would have first hand knowledge of that concept. There would be fights and physical altercations today if Jehovah's Witnesses insisted on marching in front of churches.

Thanks for that 'pyramid gravesite' link. I noticed that on Charles T. Russell's pyramid gravesite, there is a cross on two sides (just like the video shows was on the original "Watchtower" magazines)! And yet, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus died on a stake, not a cross! Wow, even their founder contradicts what they believe today!; May 19, 2008 at 11:40 PM

If you do a search on Google for "richard dawkins richard dawson," your S&T blog site comes up as #2!

Ranked first is Amazon's page selling Dawkin's book. One of the Customer Reviews says, "Richard Dawson has presented a "fair and balanced" expose of the delusional fantasy of god."

I don't know if that's where you got the idea from or not, but I guess that's the equivalent of Joe Theismann's quote that you mentioned on your blog site: "Nobody in football should be called a genius. A genius is a guy like Norman Einstein."; May 20, 2008 at 1:03 AM
