Relationship, not 'Religion'

To be a Buddhist, you don't have to know Buddha.
To be a Muslim, you don't have to know Muhammad.
To be a Confucianist, you don't have to know Confucius.
To be a Taoist, you don't have to know Laozi.
But to be a Christian, you do have to know Jesus.

It's not about rules or rites or ceremonies or pilgrimages. It's about a personal, intimate, love relationship with Jesus Christ---God the Son; the Messiah.

Good points. You show a key difference between Christianity and these other views.

Bravo, Mr. J. Jenkins

How about Mr. J. Jonah Jenkins?

I hope family is okay.

Thanks, Russ.

J. Jonah Jenkins? That's more like my boss, the Design & Graphics Editor. Although he's much nicer to me than J. Jonah Jameson is to Peter Parker, he is quite strict, and it is very difficult to please him. Nevertheless, the job is a blessing, and, as a contract Graphic Artist, I am learning more and more, and getting faster and better in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

As far as my sister, though her sinus surgery was risky, since it was the sinus cavity that is between the ear and the brain, which meant that the surgeon had to operate close to the brain and optic nerve, MANY people were praying for her, and as a result, though her operation was only this morning, she came home at 12 noon, and is doing surprisingly well. Praise God that it was not a tumor, as was first suspected by the allergist. But the continuous 24/7 headaches should be hopefully gone now. She goes back Tues. for the results. She is on pain pills for the time being. Every time she has had an operation (back surgery, hysterectomy, and others), she has had many people praying for her, and as a result, every time she has made amazingly quick recoveries, even to the point of shocking the doctors. For example, after her hysterectomy, she was able to sit up without help, etc., and the therapist said that he has never seen anyone recover that quickly before, and told her she didn't even need any therapy. Basically the same thing happened after her back surgery; she says that she knows its only because so many people have prayed for her. She attributes it completely to God.

I hope your sister is getting better.

Thanks, Russ. She's recovering, and, though she has to endure a lot of discomfort, it seems that she will be fine. Praise God for that.
